What is Sovereign Replay?

Sovereign replay is the process of independently recomputing a cryptographic proof without relying on a central database. In the UserMint Network, verification is not a lookup; it is a mathematical re-enactment of the original notarization.

This ensures that even if UserMint's own servers were offline or compromised, any party with the original data and the protocol spec could verify the integrity of an asset.

The Verification Cycle

  • Data Reconstruction: The verifier parses the NPPP proof string to extract metadata and temporal anchors.
  • Cryptographic Challenge: The verifier requests the original artifact and re-hashes it locally.
  • Ledger Confirmation: The final hash is cross-referenced with the immutable record on the selected blockchain (EVM, Hedera, or XRP).
